Pictures from my recent trip to Frankfurt with the student group ESN. Mostly the pictures are from the free alternative walking tour that we took (open and free to anyone of all ages) and that I personally recommend because we got to learn some really cool non-touristy things about the city that we otherwise would never have seen. For example, the spiderman sculpture that is included in the pictures is part of an ongoing student project where students get permission from building owners to place them on random hidden buildings throughout the city. Frankfurt was really cold and cloudy when I went so I would love to go again sometime when the weather was better and spend more time in the Altstadt there, which was my favorite place during the city tour. There is also some really cool stories behind the paintings on the buildings pictured below and the cat statues (not pictured) that are on top of some of the buildings.
